We have the honour to announce that the Memorial Museum Passchendaele have kindly donated some battlefield soil to include in the creation of the piece.
It is truly humbling to have our native soil mixing with the soil of Flanders.
We are happy to announce that we have our first confirmed silhouette. Fed up and Far From Home is a wonderful piece of silverware belonging to The Royal Lancers and manages to communicate many thoughts and emotions without saying a word. The silhouette will be the last in the line of personnel and “closest” to the war with the Tommie’s heavy body language lending its gravity to the work.
We would like to thank The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths’ Own) for giving their kind permission to incorporate this wonderful and evocative piece into our work.
